The operation of the “Turkey Stream” gas pipeline will be suspended due to annual planned maintenance, the press service of “Gazprom” reports.
“Transportation of gas on both pipes of the TurkStream gas pipeline will be temporarily suspended from June 5 to June 12, 2023 due to planned maintenance,” the company said in a statement.
Gazprom also noted that the suspension of gas transportation was pre-agreed upon by all parties.
“Turkish Stream” is a gas pipeline that supplies gas from Russia to Turkey and the countries of southern and southeastern Europe through the Black Sea and Turkish territory. Its design capacity is 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
