TOKYO – Temporary standings for medals Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Thursday (29/7/2021) at 13.00 WIB, China occupies the top position. Meanwhile, Indonesia is in the 3rd position of Southeast Asian countries (ASEAN) or 40th under Thailand and the Philippines.
Indonesia again managed to add to its medal tally through weightlifting. The medal was presented by the male weightlifter, Rahmat Erwin Abdullah, who managed to record bronze for Indonesia.
Rahmat Erwin Abdullah dropped in the 73 kg class. He managed to set a new record at Clean & Jerk with an initial lift of 190 kg and a total lift of 342 kg.
On the other hand, medal gains for China were dominated by weightlifting, shooting and diving. Recently, the Bamboo Curtain Country won gold in the men’s 3 meter diving sport.

That way, the total medals won by the Bamboo Curtain Country are 14 gold, six silver and three bronze. Meanwhile, in second place is the United States which has a total of 36 medals.
