From the Sacsa press office they report that the terminal was closed due to operational safety conditions, due to the detachment of a portion of the asphalt layer from the runway.
At the moment they are working on the removal of these residues that represent a risk for the air operation. It is expected that in approximately 2 hours they will have finished these tasks and the airport will be reopened in the afternoon between 10:30 and 11:00 pm

From Sacsa they regret the delays and inconveniences caused by this closure and report that they have enabled the international room to decongest the rooms.
So far only one deviated flight to Barranquilla has been reported and it is Wingo’s from Panama. Passengers coming from a flight from Bogotá were taken off the plane before taking off.
