TEMPLE. From this afternoon, January 20, the hospitalization activity of the Medicine Department of the Paolo Dettori hospital resumed after the conclusion of the sanitation and biodecontamination of the premises. The service will be gradual and organized compatibly with the staff on duty.

The activity of the external admissions of the department on the fifth floor of the “Dettori” was suspended on 9 January following the isolation of a positive outbreak at Covid which affected both patients and staff.

From January 15, the medical department had also arranged for the temporary suspension of hospitalizations in Otorino in order to put in place a series of organizational measures aimed at resolving the critical issues related to the outbreak, both from a management point of view of the spaces and recruitment. of other nursing staff to make up for the shortage of operators in Medicine, caused by the outbreak.
