Tempi: With candles and black balloons, the sit-in protest at the Constitution – PHOTO

The deep mourning in which all of Greece is, was reflected today in the silent protest held at Syntagma, with hundreds of people holding black balloons and lighting candles in memory of the victims of the shocking tragedy that occurred in Tempi.

People of all ages with candles, black balloons and banners reading “take me when you arrive” and “some never arrived” attended the silent protest at the Constitution as a small sign of mourning for the victims of the Tempe tragedy.

Hundreds of citizens gathered at the Syntagma, holding lit candles, while on the road outside the Parliament they had formed with smaller candles the phrase “pick me up when you arrive”, a phrase of affection that now, after the deadly collision of the two trains in Tempi, spreads to everyone unimaginable pain.

Black balloons filled the sky in memory of all those who were so unjustly lost while sadness was reflected in everyone’s eyes.
