THE Pavlos Aslanidisthe father of a victim of the Tempe train tragedy, reports that bone remains were found on the private plot where soil had been moved from the accident site.
This is a site owned by a contractor who, in the third 24 hours after the collision of the two trains, was ordered to move the soil on which the first carriages ended up.
Pavlos Aslanidis tells MEGA that he is sure from human bones the remains found on the plot. As he emphasizes last November, special dogs had found human bones.
“Floridis must resign, because he said that we, the parents who spoke about de-cluttering and re-cluttering, ‘are for the rubbish’. He told us the day before yesterday ‘what should we do, throw them into the sea?’ If they could, they would also throw them into the sea. For her part, the lawyer Maria Hadjikonstantinou underlined that “in the previous sampling investigation that had been done, remains of the train, the trains, but also bones were found. Those found were sent to forensic laboratories for DNA identification.”
Maria Hatzikonstantinou also emphasized that from the first ten days, criminal negligence had been reported by all agencies, the judicial and prosecutorial authorities.
“There was a mess. There was no guarding of the place. In the event that they are found to be remains and they are identified with DNA and associated with people who have disappeared, many things change with regard to the charges,” added the lawyer.
