The answers to these questions may shed “light” on a “dark” aspect of the Tempe crime involving the cargo of the fatal passenger train and the unusual explosion it caused resulting in the deaths of dozens of passengers.
The Kokkalis question in Parliament
It is recalled that explanations for the “unavailable” and “unaccountable possession of large quantities of chemical solvent found in Promahonas a few days before the crime of Tempe” were requested by the Head of the Department for Rural Development and Food and Member of Parliament for Larisa of SYRIZA, Vassilis Kokkalis, with his question to Minister of Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis.
As Mr. Kokkalis stated in his question, among other things, “the thorough investigation of this aspect will lead to the disclosure of the causes of the explosion and its extent, which resulted in the loss of approximately 30 passengers out of the 57 victims of the tragedy, which could have been avoided if the chemical in question had not been transported and the explosion had not been caused as a consequence of the chemical.”
