TEMPERATURES upset with truly SURPRISING peaksA change in temperatures is expected shortly. If in recent days we are experiencing the classic situation (for the period) characterized by strong excursions thermal between the hours of darkness and the diurnal hours, with rather cold minimum values as opposed to decidedly mild maximum values and at times even slightly higher than the climatological average of the period, this situation is destined to change in the short term.
But now things are changing as a result of the transit of one disturbance on Italy which, inevitably, will greatly influence the behavior of thermometers.
The stiff nights and mild days of these last few days are mainly due to the clear skies which allow, precisely to night, a greater cooling due to the rapid dispersion of heat towards the free atmosphere with values, especially in the north, capable of dropping to a few degrees above zero. During the day, however, the generous solar radiation causes an obvious warm up and a consequent decisive rise of the mercury columns with deck capable of surpassing even the 20°C.
In the next few days there will be a change: the Atlantic disturbance arriving in a few hours will result in a greater presence of clouds on many regions with clear areas that will be less and less large. Result? Temperatures rising at night and generally decreasing during the day, especially in the areas reached by the rains.
But there is more: the mild Sirocco currents that will accompany the disturbed front will temporarily make the thermometers splash over Sardinia where surprising peaks up to 27/28 ° C can be touched!
Elsewhere, however, the strong thermal excursions will cease and therefore the night and day temperatures will show much less evident differences. Although that of thermal excursions is certainly not an anomalous phenomenon for the period, we will encounter a climatic context that is certainly more suitable for the calendar, which statistically offers us nights that are not particularly cold and days all in all pleasant even if with not too much themic values elevated.
