Exception in Pyrenees, the sky should be well overcast in the morning. Thunderstorms and rain are even forecast for the afternoon and evening in the southern Eastern Pyrenees.
Hot weather near the Mediterranean
As for temperatures, strong heat is forecast for the afternoon on the Mediterranean coast with 33°C announced in the Gard32°C to Montpellier or 30°C at Beziers. The departments of Gard and of Herault are also placed on orange alert.
It is not in this part of the region that one can find a bit of freshness. Elsewhere, the air should be a little more breathable with 25°C at Cahors24°C to Montauban or 22°C at Tarbes.
