Tempe: 20-day deadline to investigate who gave the order for the bottling – 2024-04-29 07:10:48

An order to investigate the reasons for the removal of materials and soil from the site of the collision of the two trains in Tempi, as well as the paving of the area, the so-called bazoma, was given by the appeals prosecutor of Larisa, in the context of the judicial investigation into the railway accident.

According to information, a deadline of 20 days has been given to complete the preliminary examination in order to find out who or which persons were at the site of the accident from the first days until the coating of the site with tar and gravel.

What does the survey involve?

It is also investigated who or who and why they gave order to remove the soiland other materials from the scene of the accident, before the judicial authorities were involved, and without informing and obtaining permission, and even if a report was drawn up for the removal of the materials, or this action was recorded.

In the context of the investigation of the Appellants’ vice-prosecutor, it is requested, among other things, to attach relevant documents from the Greek Police and the fire service, as well as any other service involved in any way in the incident, with which a clear answer will be given to who were physically present at the scene (for this purpose the existing photographic material in the case file will also be used) and who gave the order to remove the above materials.
