mTelugu actor Chiranjeevi criticizes Nsoor Ali Khan’s anti-women statement. Chiranjeevi said that Mansoor Ali Khan’s comments were offensive and disgusting not only for an artist but for any woman or girl. The actor’s response was through social media.
Chiranjeevi said that he is with Trisha and all women who have to be subjected to such derogatory remarks. Thanks to Chiranjeevi’s statement, Trisha has also come on stage.
Mansoor Ali Khan made controversial remarks against Trisha in an interview given to a Tamil media regarding the film ‘Leo’ starring Vijay and Trisha. When I heard that Trisha was the heroine in Leo, I expected that there would be a bedroom scene. Mansoor Ali Khan said that after acting in 350 films, is there any kind of rape scene that we don’t do, even the villain role in the film was not given to him.
Trisha herself was the first to come out strongly against the actor. Trisha also stated that she will never act with him again. After this, Mansoor Ali Khan’s statement is widely protested by the film stars. After Trisha criticized Mansoor Ali Khan, director Lokesh Kanakaraj, actress Malavika Mohanan and singer Chinmayi came on stage to criticize the actor. The National Commission for Women has voluntarily registered a case against actor Mansoor Ali Khan in the incident. The Women’s Commission said that violence against women should be condemned.
Actor Mansoor Ali Khan has said that he will not apologize for the incident. The actor said that he has done nothing wrong and the people of Tamil Nadu are behind him. Mansoor Ali Khan said that people are making a big issue out of his statement without understanding the joke. The actor also asked if all the actors who blamed him were really good. Mansoor Ali Khan also pointed out that he will file a defamation case against Trisha who informed her that she will not act with him. The actor has also raised a challenge against the Nadikar Sangha (South Indian Artistes Association) who warned him for not listening to his side.
