The cinemas have been closed for more than a year because of Corona: These are the great halls with comfortable seats and huge screens. Sure, you can watch films at home – and series anyway. But if you can watch something together with your friends and many other people, it is much more exciting. You go into the foyer, buy a ticket and maybe a big bag of popcorn – and then off you go: First there is usually advertising or a preview of other films, and then finally the film is on. You sit in the dark with everyone else, you shudder or laugh together and are happy when everything turns out well in the end. The cinema is a place where one can be enchanted. That doesn’t work at home in front of the screen. You can try it again soon.
