New partnership enables the Indonesian mobile operator to offer personal cloud services to a market with more than 170 million subscribers
BRIDGEWATER, New Jersey, Nov. 05, 2021, Indonesia’s largest wireless operator, provides its personal cloud solution. The addition of the Synchronoss Personal CloudSolution gives Telkomsel customers the ability to secure and manage their valuable digital content, including photos and videos, from any device.
The white label solution Synchronoss Personal Cloud – with the brand “Floudrive” and managed by Telkomsigma – is made available to Telkomsel’s 170 million customers as a premium feature. Subscribers can choose between two different storage levels and enjoy an initial free period of 30 days. The solution offers customers a reliable and intuitive cloud storage experience with the ability to backup and synchronize digital content, while introducing advanced tagging and search functions.

The solution is provided under Synchronoss’ agreement with Telkomsigma, Telkomsel’s IT services and data center business and Telkomsigma’s parent company Telkom Indonesia. Unlike other cloud solutions on the market, the personal cloud operated by Synchronoss enables customer data to be stored in the country, an important requirement for Telkomsel to comply with Indonesian law.
