This Metaverse use case is present at the peak of Telkom's 57th anniversary celebration, named Digiland 2022, a festival of music, arts, technology and culinary exhibitions. Digiland 2022 will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
There are various areas that can be visited and enjoyed, including Music Land, Creation Land, Connectivity Land, and Pasar Rakyat.
At a press conference at Istora Senayan this morning (29/7), Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah who was accompanied by Telkom SVP Corporate Communication & Investor Relations Ahmad Reza said that Digiland 2022 is one of Telkom's real proofs to convey messages to the public about Telkom's transformation steps into digital telco.
Telkom believes that the digital potential for Indonesia is enormous. There are many things that can be done with the use of digital technology. Even digitalization can bring Indonesia to make a leap (leapfrog) so that it can be on par with other developed countries in the world.
“In Digiland 2022, there are a variety of digital products, startup exhibitions, games area to MSME bazaars that use technology to run their business. We hope that Digiland 2022 can build public awareness that Telkom is indeed undergoing a transformation. In addition, Digiland 2022 is here to provide entertainment for the community," said Ririek.
Ririek further said that the Digiland 2022 event was carried out while still implementing the Covid-19 health protocol. All visitors are required to use the PeduliLindung application before entering the Digiland 2022 area. In addition, visitors are also required to wear masks while in the event area.
Meanwhile, Telkom SVP Corporate Communication & Investor Relations, Ahmad Reza said that Digiland 2022 is a manifestation of Telkom's spirit in this new age to continue to support the realization of the nation's big dreams through digitalization to accelerate Indonesia's digital sovereignty.
