Telkom Indonesia and Telkomsel Sign Deed of Spin-Off to Integrate IndiHome

Jakarta, tvOnenews.com – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) and PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) signed a deed of spin-off to integrate IndiHome into Telkomsel on Tuesday (27/6/2023).

The deed signed by the Main Director of Telkom Ririek Adriansyah and the Main Director of Telkomsel Hendri Mulya Syam indicates that IndiHome will be under the management of Telkomsel starting July 1, 2023.

This agreement is an important milestone for the implementation of TelkomGroup’s Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) initiative as part of the main strategy of the Five Bold company.
Moves, in order to create a sustainable impact on society such as presenting services broadband wider, more equitable and reliable, support the acceleration of digital inclusion and the digital economy, increase level playing field Indonesian telecommunications industry, as well as strengthen the company’s business in the future.

This IndiHome integration made Telkom’s effective ownership in Telkomsel increase to 69.9 percent while Singtel in Telkomsel became 30.1 percent.

Telkom Main Director Ririek Adriansyah said that the transfer of IndiHome to Telkomsel was a sign of business refocus within TelkomGroup.

This creates a segment Business to Consumer (B2C) is fully managed by Telkomsel and Telkom focuses on the segment Business to Business (B2B) that can provide a new source of income.
