After Belgium, it is France’s turn to formalize the extension of teleworking until September 30 for cross-border workers with a professional activity in Luxembourg. Indeed, France and the Grand Duchy have, by mutual agreement, decided to postpone for three months the measure initially set for June 30 to prevent the number of Covid-19 infections from rising again after the summer break. The Member of Parliament for Thionville, Isabelle Rauch (LREM), announced this Saturday, June 12, specifying that “the days teleworked will not be taken into account under the tax threshold set at 29 days teleworked per year nor under the social threshold of 25% ”. So that’s something to cheer up all commuters worried about a face-to-face recovery at the end of this month.
