Although there are hundreds of actors, there are some who earn the love of the people with their performances, regardless of whether they are not the main protagonist or antagonist of the program. Such is the case of a beloved Televisa actress who has not recorded a telenovela for 11 years.

was the producer Rosy Ocampo who gave the happy news to the fans of this celebrity, during the presentation of what will be the new melodrama that adds to the “Vencer” saga that has been so successful in Mexico and the United States.

Through his Instagram account, Ocampo revealed that this new telenovela will be called “Vencer la culpa”.

He also announced the name of at least 20 actors who will be part of the project that will be launched through the merger of Televisa Univision. Among them he highlighted the name of Manuela Imazwho participated in soap operas such as “Las vías del amor” or “Corazones al límite” and has been away from the spotlight for more than a decade.

In this regard, Manuela Ímaz, actress of “Sortilegio”, “Full of love” and “Rafaela”, reacted with the following message: “Thank you, boss. It will be an honor to return hand in hand with her ”.

On this occasion, the Mexican actress will give life to “Lorena”, one of the characters that will support the plot, which until now has been guarded with great suspicion.

What happened to the Televisa actress Manuela Imaz?

It should be remembered that the last telenovela in which Manuela Ímaz participated was in “Por ella soy Eva” (2012) with the character of “Patricia Lorca”.

In 2020, in an interview for the magazine ‘People in Spanish’, Ímaz explained that the reason behind her retirement was her motherhood.

“I realized that with my other daughter, Alaia, (…) I did not stop working, I practically made two novels a year, so I was not there when she took her first steps, the first time she said ‘mama ‘ (…) When I got pregnant with Manuela, I didn’t want the same thing to happen to me again”, said the actress who gave life to “Tamara” in Televisa’s “Amigas y Rivales”.
