The Fundación Teletón Honduras is ready to start another day of love and solidarity, with the 27 hours of fundraising this February 12 and 13.
The director of Telethon in San Pedro Sula, Reny Recarte, affirmed that they are ready to launch this event of solidarity. He said that the format is different due to the covid-19 that is still in force in our territory, this year being an event through social networks and television. Therefore, the event will not have an audience present, but will be broadcast through the different social networks and television networks.
In addition, he mentioned that the goal for this year is not numerical but aspirational due to the blows that Honduras has had due to the coronavirus and storms Eta and Iota.
“The goal is to keep fighting,” he said. He said that donations for this year are easier than ever since everything can be done from home without having to go out to look for a bottle or go to the banking center to donate.
This year they have a so-called “virtual bottle”, which is about donating online through the different banks and having the application Telethon.
