Telethon 2021: the program of events in the district of Montluçon (Allier)
A sixth edition
“This is the sixth year that we have organized an action for the Telethon, with something new this year: a mini-canadair that we have made”, explains Corporal Sébastien Chopin, in charge of entertainment. “We offered these activities mainly for children [plus de 130 étaient déjà venus à la mi-journée, NDLR], although adults could climb the grand ladder. It was possible to access the activities by purchasing a Telethon key ring. “
All profits will be donated to the French Association against Myopathies (AFM).
“The rescue centers of Néris-les-Bains and Huriel will sell these same key rings this Sunday on the markets”, adds the corporal who also specifies that “people who wish can also make donations”.
Between twenty-five and thirty firefighters from Montluçon took part in this day of action, including some rescue professionals in perilous and mountainous environments (SMPM). “This day was also an opportunity to meet the population and perhaps, why not, encourage vocations. “
