Telepass, we can finally say goodbye to him: you don’t have to give him your money anymore | Gift for all Italians

Electronic toll systems are widespread in our country. Surely the most famous of all is the Telepass, which is used precisely to avoid queuing at the motorway toll booths, by having the toll amount directly charged to your current account. This novelty, however, could be a turning point for all motorists considering the exorbitant prices that these services have reached over time. Let’s find out what it is.

For those who often use our motorway infrastructures, the telepass is a very useful service. In fact, who has never thought, finding themselves ruinously in the queue at the toll booth, how lucky are telepass users who can totally avoid this type of waiting? We are all aware of this electronic toll technology. But since when has it been active in Italy?

Telepass is a registered trademark owned by Atlantia SpA (of which Telepass SpA. is the licensee) which distinguishes a motorway toll collection system with the use of electronic tolls, introduced in Italy in 1989 by Società Autostrade Concessioni e Costruzioni SpA Since then this type of service has found wide application and is now present in practically every tollbooth motorway.

The cost, however, is certainly not low, and for those who are not a large user of motorway sections, it may not be a good buy. However, there are some innovations that could totally change the cards on the table and offer us the possibility of accessing these comforts anyway without too high costs.

How to save money on the highway toll

There are in fact many offers that can be used to save money on electronic tolls. Starting from Telepass, in fact, at the moment, there is an offer dedicated to those who purchase the Telepass Slim device. In addition to zeroing the shipping costs of the device, those who purchase it by November 30, 2022 will enjoy the zero fee for one year. After twelve months, the monthly fee will be 3 euros.

Besides Telepass, however, other companies also offer this service such as UnipolMove. Offered by the UnipolSai company, its expected fee is 1 euro per month. However, until January 8, 2023, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of an offer not to be missed. In fact, it will be possible to have UnipolMove with a zero fee for a total of twelve months. The last service we deal with is Mooney bank’s MoneyGo. We do not have much information about this specific offer but we know that by the end of the year it will already be available with a fairly widespread network of devices nationwide, which already has 45,000 shops that will have the opportunity to sell it.
