At the end of July, we already wrote that the messaging service “Telegram” has also given in to the short video craze and is starting to offer the “Stories” function to its “Premium” subscribers. It seems that now the company has expanded the availability of this function, and in honor of Telegram’s 10th anniversary, every user can upload their own short video.
Visually, Telegram Stories are similar to Instagram and Facebook stories, which appear at the top of the app. But the main difference is that Telegram users are given more control. For example, you can mark who can see the content: everyone, contacts, selected contacts or close friends. It’s also worth mentioning that Telegram users can create stories using the BeReal mode, taking pictures with the phone’s front and rear cameras at the same time.
To make it more interesting, Premium users have access to some additional features. For example, their stories will always appear first, regardless of when they were taken. Also, paid users can watch short videos in “secret mode”, control how long they will be visible to others: 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours, save stories in the gallery, etc.
