“Telegram” is harassed by people who “break our terms of service to sell illegal goods,” Durov admitted.

According to reports, Durov was detained in France in August. Among other things, he has been accused of refusing to provide information to authorities about criminals using Telegram.

From now on, the company, when it receives a request issued in accordance with the law, will reveal the phone numbers and IP addresses of the people who violate the rules of the platform, said the head of “Telegram”, expressing confidence that this will do. deter criminals.

Durov is currently on bail, but is banned from leaving France.
