Telegram adds translate button, comments and spoiler tag

The new update came today announced by Telegram. The responses are similar to those of iMessage. Clicking once on a message opens a menu with several animated emoji.

There is an animated heart, a poop emoji and a fire available. You can also set a default response, which appears immediately when you double-press a message.

Comments can always be used in private chats. The admins of group chats and channels can decide whether comments are on.

Spoiler feature added

Earlier it leaked that Telegram was testing a spoiler function. This feature allows you to hide part of your message so that people can only read it if they want to.

Such spoiler functions are intended to prevent someone from suddenly reading important details from a new movie, for example.

Translate messages

Finally, Telegram adds a translation feature to the app. If you turn on ‘Translate’ in the settings menu, you will see a translation button from that moment on when you press a message. You can also indicate which languages you speak – Telegram then hides the translation button for those languages.

According to Telegram, it’s about ‘all the languages you can think of’.
