Ajax may lose Sergiño Dest. Bayern Munich has its arrows on the back this season broken back, reports De Telegraaf Friday evening.
Ajax declined a bid of twenty million euros from southern Germany during the winter transfer period, De Telegraaf reveals. Amsterdammers would like to cooperate on a summer transfer.
According to the morning newspaper late Der Rekordmeister ‘no longer loose’ and Ajax is prepared to listen to an offer, ‘provided the correct price is paid’. Ajax seems to have an amount of no less than thirty million euros in mind, but it is also expected to agree to an offer of 26 million euros. An agreement between the two clubs seems at least a matter of time.
This season, Dest made his debut on behalf of Ajax’s main force and now has 27 official matches to his name. In September, he extended his contract until mid-2022. Not long afterwards, the wing defender had to choose between an international career on behalf of Orange or the United States, his father’s homeland: Team USA won that fight.
