According to the new General Telecommunications Law, approved in 2022, the Spanish telco must guarantee a series of telecommunications services “regardless of its geographical location, with a certain quality and at an affordable price”.

Voice services are also ensured and other requirements are eliminated as part of the obligations, such as the service in telephone booths, telephone inquiries about subscriber numbers and telephone directories.
