Two months of planning, a team of 40 people, 12 days and 103 hours of distribution, 57 of them on the main signal, In a public television alliance, they made it possible to see the Paralympic Games in Colombia for the first time in history. 130 hours of assembly, 135 hours of work, 5 signals were sent simultaneously to the 6 regional channels that had independent programming, and TeleIslas and Canal Tro did it simultaneously with a regional channel of the Antiochians.
Teleantioquia was at the head of the ambitious project that set a trend and made it possible to make each of the 78 athletes representing the country visible, vibrating with each action and being inspired by the story of those with courage, determination and equality. everything left in different scenes of Paris.
A joint effort and a challenge that was also learning: The human and technical team of the largest regional channel in Colombia prepared for weeks to do their work with the greatest responsibility and respect for the viewer and the athletes, to know how to they will tell the stories and with the help of experts, explain the concepts, methods and categories of Paralympic sports.
Nicolás Sierra, coordinator of Teleantioquia Deportes, indicated from Teleantioquia with the support of management and content management, “there were very interesting discussions with the Colombian Paralympic Committee and the importance of making these Games visible.
