Mobile communications operator Tele2 extends special tariffs until the end of the year and continues to compensate incurred roaming costs for people and organizations traveling to Ukraine on a mission.

Maintains reduced prices
Tele2 customers in Ukraine can continue to use special roaming tariffs. When calling from Ukraine to Lithuania or within the country, the price per minute is EUR 0.04, the price of calls to third countries and answered calls is EUR 0.03, SMS – EUR 0.0025, roaming internet data transfer costs EUR 0.001 per 1MB, that is 1 EUR for 1GB.
These rates are valid for all Tele2 private, business and prepaid Pildyk customers. Sending SMS is free for Pildyk users. The special roaming rates will be valid until the end of this year.
The operator’s clients in Lithuania can also take advantage of favorable prices for international calls – it’s cheaper to call and write to Ukraine. For Tele2 customers, the price of a call per minute continues to be EUR 0.05, and SMS messages – EUR 0.10. Until June by the end of the year, the operator had already provided free mobile communication, roaming and international communication services for more than 3.5 million Eur.
Continues to help in other ways
“Tele2” contributed to the camps for Ukrainian children organized by “Strong Together” this summer. Ukrainians who spent the summer in Lithuania left the camps with farewell gift baskets and new tablet computers. Tele2 donated 196 tablets to war orphans in cooperation with Samsung.
The company continues other actions of support for Ukraine, started since the beginning of the war. Tele2 does not charge fees and waives necessary costs for short numbers used by organizations to collect support for Ukraine. In this way, every euro donated by customers goes to support, and the operator’s support in this way already reaches more than one hundred thousand euros.
About 1,000 used phones and tablets were collected and handed over to organizations during Tele2’s special initiative. “Tele2” provided 200 “Laisvo Interneto” routers and 60 tablets to “Maisto Bank” for the Ukrainians who came to Lithuania. Ukrainians who have arrived in Lithuania can apply to any Tele2 showroom for special service conditions. The operator has already distributed almost 40 thousand. “Fill” SIM cards for Ukrainians arriving in Lithuania.
Employees of the Tele2 contact center volunteered at the helpline established by the organization “Strong Together” and responded to almost 11,000 calls. calls.
