Telde, December 24, 2020.- Music and theater are the protagonists in the programming that the Department of Culture coordinated by Juan Martel and the municipal company Gestel have planned for this weekend.
Thus, the Juan Ramón Jiménez Municipal Theater hosts this Saturday, starting at 8:30 p.m., the musical show Swingstar Blanca Navidad, by Camino Viejo Producciones, in which the story of three boys who come is told through theater and music to Dr. Blanca’s office on the same day, at the same time, but in different years, and who without knowing it will be in charge of bringing back the true spirit of Christmas.
Through anecdotes, songs, experiences, and polvorones, SwingStar will accompany the public on a journey in which the nostalgia for yesterday, the uncertainty of the present and the hope of tomorrow go hand in hand.
The entrance to enjoy this show has a cost of 10 euros.
On the other hand, the child and family audience has an appointment on Sunday, starting at 12.00, with Hamelin’s futist, a proposal also by Camino Viejo Producciones whose entry has a cost of 6 euros.
On the stage of the Juan Ramón Jiménez Theater, this version of the Brothers Grimm story will be performed, which tells the story of a town that uses a flute player to put an end to a plague of rats, with humor and songs.
