The Technology Career Fair was held at Tel Aviv University. It’s an annual event where various tech companies are invited to set up booths on campus and try to convince students that working for them is the first step to a successful career.
In addition to giants such as Apple, Cisco, Amazon or Samsung, the university has also invited companies from the Defense sector: Rafael, IAI, Bet Shemesh Engines, the Negev Nuclear Research Center and Elbit Systems, as well as Israeli intelligence agencies : the Shin Bet and the Mossad.
Each booth was covered with company-branded treats and memorabilia, offered in exchange for a few minutes donated by the students, during which company representatives promised high pay, challenging projects and fulfilling opportunities for advancement in the hierarchy of the organization.
At the Elbit Systems booth, we were offered a company-branded thermos and a coffee.
