Teerasil became the star of Thailand’s victory when they beat the Philippines 2-1 at the National Stadium, Kallang, Singapore, Tuesday (14/12) afternoon WIB. The 33-year-old striker scored two goals against the Philippines.
Teerasil opened Thailand’s advantage over the Azkals thanks to a goal in the 32nd minute. Teerasil scored a beautiful goal with a first-time shot utilizing a mature pass, Theerathon Bunmathan.
The player who is now in the Bangkok Glass Pathum United uniform scored the second goal in the 77th minute. Teerasil this time broke into the Philippines goal through a penalty kick.
The additional two goals made Teerasil level with Safawi at the top of the 2021 AFF Cup top scorer list. Teerasil and Safawi have both collected four goals.
