NEW YORK – A 14-year-old girl was cut in the bust and hand inside a Manhattan subway on Sunday afternoon, New York City police announced.
The minor was attacked with a sharp object after arguing with two other teenagers, aged 13 to 15, around 16:08 in a subway of line 1 to the railway station of West 191st.
The alleged attackers fled the scene and no arrests have been made so far.
The victim should recover.
Details of the relationship between the boys were not released.
The case is under investigation.
The train attack comes the day after Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams unveiled initiatives to combat violence and crime on the city’s public transit system.
