A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured in a stabbing in the Lange Klarenstraat, a side street of the Meir, on Saturday night. He is out of danger.
The victim is said to have been present at a party where he was not welcome. There was a conflict with some other attendees and the Antwerp teenager was stabbed several times on the street. “He was taken to ZNA Cadix in life-threatening condition,” says police spokeswoman Kim Bastiaens.
Shortly after noon it was announced that the teenager is out of danger.
The police were able to interrogate four people during the night. It is not clear whether the perpetrator of the facts is one of them.
