The security services in Dakahlia revealed the mystery of finding a person murdered and his body dumped in the sea of the village of Abu Dashisha, Belqas Center, Dakahlia Governorate.
It turned out that his minor daughter, who was not more than 16 years old, got rid of her father with the help of her fiancé, because there were disagreements between them regarding the accused’s desire to marry the victim’s daughter before she reached the legal age for marriage.
The beginning was when Major General Marwan Habib, Director of Dakahlia Security, received a notification from Major General Muhammad Abdel Hadi, Director of Criminal Investigation, that a report had been received by the Sheriff of Belqas Police Station from the people of the village of Abu Dashisha. The center followed up on the discovery of the body of a resident of the village, murdered and dumped next to the Abu Dashisha Sea.
Officers from the Investigation Unit of the Belqas Police Station, led by Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Al-Banna, Chief of Investigations, moved in, and examination revealed the presence of the body of “Ashraf A.A.,” 48 years old, an electronics repair technician and resident of the same village.
The Director of Investigations was assigned to form a search team of officers from the Criminal Investigation Branch in West Dakahlia, led by Colonel Dr. Sharif Abu Shaisha, head of the branch, and officers of the Belqas Police Station Investigation Unit, in coordination with officers of the Public Security Branch. The investigations led to the elimination of the victim’s daughter, named “Menna,” 15 years old, from Her father, with the help of her fiancé, Muhammad A.H., 18 years old, dumped his body next to the canal.
By codifying the procedures, a force of officers from the Belqas Police Station’s Investigation Unit was able to arrest the accused, and after confronting them, they confessed to committing the incident and got rid of the girl’s father.
The necessary report on the incident was prepared and the Public Prosecution was notified, which initiated investigations and ordered the body to be transferred to the morgue of Mansoura International Hospital.
