NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department opened an investigation Tuesday after a teenager was stabbed after school in Brooklyn.
The teenage victim was identified as a 16-year-old boy. She was stabbed multiple times in the back with a known sharp object, according to authorities.
The teen, whose name was not released, was transported to Lutheran Hospital in stable condition.
Police are looking for three men and two women linked to the incident. The men were dressed entirely in black and the girls wore black leggings and tan tops.
The group was last seen traveling west on 49th Streetthe police said.
