A young street robber robbed four elderly people in Zaandam on Sunday afternoon. That was announced today. One of the victims was injured in the head.
The first two robberies were committed in the Hoornseveld district. In both robberies, the victims walked with a walker. The culprit managed to get some money.
In the third robbery in a park, the perpetrator cycled around an elderly couple and asked them for money. They refused to give it, after which a struggle followed. The two victims fell and one of them sustained a head injury. The perpetrator ran off with an unknown loot, reports NH News.
The victims all gave a similar description of the perpetrator. It would be a boy of about fourteen years old. Before the robberies, he had been cycling in circles in the neighborhood for a while.
