An 18-year-old young man missing since Monday was found this Tuesday noon at the Grenoble bus station. He was taken care of by the firefighters and transported to the University Hospital for examinations after being beaten up. His face is completely swollen, especially around the eyes, and he suffers from chest and stomach pains.
Sequestration for 7000 euros?
According to him, he was kidnapped on Monday afternoon and held overnight in a cellar in Grenoble by a group of people who took his phone, his credit card and his identity card. He was then forced to sell cigarettes on behalf of the individuals who kidnapped him, apparently for a story of debt. “They told me that I owed them 7000 euros”he told our reporter on the spot before being taken care of by the firefighters, “but I’m sure they confuse me with someone else, I don’t know them”.
His mother, who had given the alert on Facebook, was notified. The deputy prosecutor opened an investigation which was entrusted to the judicial police.
