The police arrested a minor boy from Stein (Limburg) on Monday for the armed robbery of a supermarket in Elsloo.
On Friday evening, July 17, the supermarket was attacked by a boy with a knife just after closing time.
The robber threatened the employees and locked them in the store’s office. He ran off with an unknown amount of money.
The age of the arrested suspect is not disclosed, because he is a minor. In a report sent via Burgernet shortly after the robbery, police estimated his age at about thirteen.
The teenager from Stein came to the police during the criminal investigation, reports 1Limburg.
