Tedoglou: Candidate for the title of the best athlete in the world – Along with Duplantis –

Miltos Tedoglou is nominated together with the Swedish champion for the award of the best athlete in the world in jumping, as announced by World Athletics.

The top two athletes in each category – athletics, track and field – were chosen from the first round of voting, which included votes from the World Athletics Council, the World Athletics Family and a public vote on social media. One of these two athletes will take the crown in their category.

Now, a final round of voting – conducted by the sport’s fans – will take place between November 4-10 to decide who is the overall World Sportsperson of the Year.

Voting ends on Sunday, November 10. The Athletes of the Year in each category, as well as the overall winner, will be announced at a ceremony in Monaco on Sunday 1 December as part of the 2024 World Athletics Awards.
