The story follows a middle-aged loving couple whose love turns upside down after one ill-advised test of feelings. Nevertheless, the bond between Diana and Richard lasts until the very end. And maybe even after him. The radio dramatization of the play by one of the most famous French playwrights, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, is inspired by one of the stories of Diderot’s Jacob the Fatalista.
