The latest version of Travelport+ is all about saving agents time and increasing productivity through self-service. This gives travel agencies more automation to reduce manual tasks and focus on their customers instead. Travelers have more options – from new flight connections to new additional services. However, this independence also benefits the organizers, as they generate more sales and have to provide less service.
Better automation of workflows
“Currently, many agencies are understaffed and dealing with a variety of travel changes. The new self-service tool eliminates tedious, manual multitasking, allowing agents to focus on sales and their customers instead,” the release says. Agent time savings according to Travelport: 1.5 hours per day.
Better support
More self-service allows developers and agents to access help when and where they need it – through both the new developer portal and the revamped MyTravelport platform.
