Technological autonomy will help the country develop strongly | Science

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam is currently ranked 25th in the Top 50 Digital Countries, according to a report by US consulting company Tholons. Vietnam has 64,000 digital companies and the number is constantly growing.

“Technological autonomy will help to elevate us strongly,” FPT Corporation general manager Nguyen Van Khoa said in an interview with the Vietnam News Agency (VNA).

In the coming times, FPT will continue to invest in the research and application of the latest technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing… to contribute faster and more effectively to the development of the country, localities and businesses.

In 2021, FPT joined 40 cities and provinces across the country in a comprehensive digital transformation, implementing digital training programs for more than 10,000 leaders at all levels.

During epidemic waves, FPT has developed the FPT eCovax program, which provides technology tools to help businesses increase their digital resilience, face the pandemic and overcome all challenges in the context of social distancing and, now, the New Normal. Over 3,000 companies have used FPT’s eCovax.

Nguyen Van Khoa pointed out that in the coming times, FPT will provide solutions towards digital government and digital economy, participate in building smart cities, smart transportation, smart health and education systems, benefiting of millions of people. -VNA
