Technical talks within the National Orange and Productive Diversity Festival – FM Impacto 107

As part of the XX National Orange and Productive Diversity Festival, the Field Training Session was held on Thursday 17, an activity carried out in the farmstead of the producer Gustavo Sand, with the advice of INTA Bella Vista and the municipal production secretariat directed by engineer Martín Gómez.
At the opening of the so-called Technical Talks, Mayor Noelia Bazzi left his greetings “to all producers, because you are the engine of our regional economies and your contribution is extremely important for the departmental economic growth”.

Subsequently, the president expressed her gratitude “for approaching this space. We always work to support and strengthen producers, we hope over time to be able to continue to consolidate public-private work.

We need to consolidate the role of producers. It’s useless to make the best festival if you don’t talk about what’s really important, because if we are what we Bellavistensi are, it’s because of the productive diversity we have, that’s why the challenge we have from now on is to be able to consolidate this strategy”.

In a separate paragraph, the head of the Executive Department underlined “the participation of the people of La Calandria who joined this year and the valuable contribution of the INTA staff with whom we worked well together. We look forward to seeing you at the party”, concluded Bazzi.

The agenda for the intervention was instead articulated on the following points: Strategies for the management and control of citronella; control strategies of black spot and roasted lemon mite and the dynamics of mechanized fertilization and biofuel application in lemon.

The interventions were given by the agronomists Mauricio Muchut (BAFS), Juan Martín Tejeiro (La Calandria) and Pedro Bazzi (BAFS). In addition, a speech was also held on the release of Tamarixia radiata (controller of Diaphorina citri, vector of HLB), by engineer Alcides Aguirre of the local INTA.
