In the first half of September for Dying Light 2 Stay Human received update 1.12, which added a crossover with the second PayDay to the zombie action game, as well as a virtual currency called DL, which can be purchased for real money. For it, players can purchase various equipment.

In addition, the developers have organized a promotion – until October 7, gamers can get 500 DL for free, but, apparently, only a few items can be purchased for this amount in the store. Fans were unhappy that a year and a half after the release of Dying Light 2, the developers added microtransactions to it, and began to lower the rating of the action game on Steam, criticizing the Techland studio. At the time of writing recent reviews about the game became “mixed”.

The author reacted to complaints from fans on their social networks and said that they had taken them into account. Team members said they would consider making it possible for Stay Human to purchase individual pieces of equipment from available sets using DL. However, the developers clarified that this will not happen overnight, as they need additional time to implement this feature.

Techland employees noted that they will be collecting feedback over the coming days, and in the future they will hold a Q&A session, in which franchise director Timon Smektala will also take part, to answer fans’ questions.
