TECHFUSE in Ioannina – NEOI CONTINENT COMPETITIONS – 2024-03-30 22:10:47

On Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6, it will take place in Ioannina, at the “Dimitris Hatzi” multicultural site (Old Slaughterhouses), the TechFuse, the first conference in Greece that combines culture, technology and innovation. The new initiative of the digital nomad community C.Ioannina is carried out in collaboration with the Urban Non-Profit Company “Node for Innovation & Digital Economy”, it is supported by the Onassis Foundation and the Region of Epirus, while it is under the auspices of the Region and the Municipality of Ioannina .

The two-day event includes sixteen separate themes which, on the one hand, focus on modern technological developments in various sectors, such as banking, architecture, research and medicine, on the other hand, illuminate the impact that technology has on society and reveal future aspects of everyday life of the people. More than forty Greek and international speakers from culture, politics, sports, technology, research and entrepreneurship will contribute to the creation of an original, exuberant and fruitful public dialogue.

In fact, the Metropolitan Organization of Museums of Visual Arts of Thessaloniki (MOMus), the UNESCO Headquarters for the Research of the Future, the Onassis Foundation Shelter, the Joint Research Center of the European Union, the Departments of Architectural Engineering and Materials Science Engineering participated in the development of the content.
