(AGENPARL) – Fri 08 November 2024 The Teatro delle Muse is transformed into a ship for “Welcome on board”, the show inspired by current events with Marina Vitolo, Gabriele Marconi, Sergio Spurio directed by Paolo Mellucci
From November 21st to December 1st 2024
A theater that transforms into a ship to tell a news story that could have happened or be the fruit of the authors’ fervent imagination. It will be precisely this floating microcosm, where every corner resonates with stories of people who live their daily lives in an extraordinary context, that will host the debut of “Benvenuti aboard” from 21 November to 1 December 2024 at the Teatro delle Muse with Marina Vitolo, Gabriele Marconi, Sergio Spurio, directed by Paolo Mellucci and written by Sergio Iovane and Mario Moretti. A varied mix of characters, on stage also Virginia Colella, Clementina Guarino, Giulia Tamburrini, Edoardo Valeriani, ready to compete with their baggage of events which, like waves, crash against the lives of others. The performers: Daniel, a rigorous but manipulative maitre, Pasqualina, a Neapolitan waitress with a heart of gold, Francesco, a mysterious waiter with a dark past, are all bearers of a unique energy that lights up every scene. Each of their interactions is a blend of comedy and tenderness, which creates hilarious and touching moments.
The story is enriched with the presence of the seductive Countess Irene and two young lovers, Fabio and Sara, offering continuous twists and hilarious gags. The ship becomes the perfect stage for a carousel of unpredictable and bizarre situations, where laughter is always around the corner. Everything is accompanied by the warm voice of singer Lulu’. All of them seem to be chained to predictable trajectories but the unexpected events of life at sea bring great upheavals to their lives. The lively and cheerful atmosphere alternates with moments of reflection and tenderness. Lives, even the most ordinary, become extraordinary in such a unique context, with their feelings and emotions. It doesn’t matter if the events told arise from the author’s fervent imagination or are inspired by a true fact, as in our case. In closing, the song “Non Basta Una Vita” suggests an ending capable of messing up the obvious and illuminating the profound meaning of what we feel inside. An ending that goes straight to the heart, hitting it, awakening it.
