This morning the launch of the programming of the International Theater Festival a Mil 2024 for its 31st edition that will take place from January 3 to 28, 2024 and will feature more than 100 national and international shows.
On January 3, the inaugural show of Teatro a Mil 2024 will be held with the performance “Les Traceurs” by the famous French tightrope walker, Nathan Paulin, who has an experienced career crossing the skies of countries such as France, Switzerland, Russia, Hong Kong and Brazil.
“Les Traceurs” is a performance that consists of realizing a 400 meter route walking on a rope installed high upabout the civic neighborhood of Santiago.
The next version of Teatro a Mil will reach theaters and spaces in Santiago, Antofagasta, Concepción and other regions of the country, inviting more than 400 thousand spectators to enjoy the best of the performing arts.
Artist honored at Teatro a Mil 2024
The honoree of the 2024 Teatro a Mil International Festival will be the actress Luz Jiménez, who has a outstanding career of more than 60 years in theaterfilm and television.
Luz Jiménez will be part of the festival’s January billboard as the protagonist of “Love story for an old soul”, a work selected by the 2024 National Jury.

The motto of the 31st version of the Teatro a Mil International Festival will be “Change the stage” and will be developed in more than 10 regions of the country with free programming.

The motto “Change the scenario” is a call to promote the changes that a more just, healthy and cohesive society requires for citizens and as the main agents of change.
It is also a way to invite rethink exhibition spaces of the arts after the pandemic and a virtuality that has put cultural work, links with the community and the use of public spaces in constant tension.
