Vijay’s film Waaris will be released on 11th January by Sankranti. Warisu and its Telugu version Varasudu were to be released on the same day. But due to some technical issues, the release of the Telugu version was delayed until 14th January.
But now the filmmakers are facing another problem. The film’s advance bookings are not picking up as expected.
Vijay is an actor who has many fans not only in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka but also abroad. And all of his recent films have been well received. But reports suggest Varys is receiving a lukewarm response from the public.
Waris advance bookings are going very slowly. This is proving to be one of the worst bookings for Vijay in recent times. There was good buzz before the trailer but after the trailer the hype of the film was affected. However, the hope is now for a Sankranti release. As it is the festive season, bookings are expected to increase.
