A large number of Dutch referees are traveling through Europe this week to be active in various European tournaments. Both Serdar Gözübüyük and Allard Lindhout have been given good appointments in the Europa League. Jochem Kamphuis and Edwin van de Graaf are VAR and AVAR respectively in Brussels at Anderlecht – Ludogorets.

Team Gözübüyük

Serdar Gözübüyük will make a trip to Rome on Thursday. He leads the AS Roma – Dynamo Kiev match at the Olimpico. The kick-off is at 6.45 pm. Gözübüyük is assisted on the sidelines by Erwin Zeinstra and Johan Balder. Sander van der Eijk is the fourth official. Dennis Higler and Erwin complete the Dutch arbitration team in Rome as VAR and AVAR respectively.

AS Roma could use a victory in the Europa League after the defeat against Elfsborg in the second round. We only find the 2023 finalist in 27th place in the Europa League standings with a point from two games. Opponent Dynamo Kiev from Ukraine has not yet achieved a single point and is 35th and penultimate.

Lindhout is assisted on the sidelines by Joost van Zuilen and Rogier Honig. Jannick van der Laan is the fourth official. They receive support from behind the video screen from Rob Dieperink (VAR) and his assistant Catalin Sorin Popa from Romania.

Eintracht Frankfurt is in seventh place in the Europa League standings with four points from two games. Numbers one to eight qualify directly for the eighth finals. The Latvian Rigas FS has only collected one point so far and we find ourselves in 29th place of a total of 36 participating clubs.
