JAKARTA – Teamkill Media, the development studio behind the game Quantum Error, has announced that its first-person shooter game with dinosaurs, entitled Son and Bone, will be launched on PS5 in 2024.
“A fast-paced FPS where you play as Dinosaur Judge in your fight to escape a world run by prehistoric monsters. Coming to PS5 2024,” the developer wrote in its announcement on X.
Not only that, Teamkill also released the first trailer for Son and Bone featuring T-Rex, Velociraptors, human/dino hybrids, and what appears to be rock golems.
The story begins on a local ranch in Patchwork, MT that is attacked by a group of notorious bandits. There, Sheriff Sam Judge is determined to fight the bandits and rescue the hostages.
But on his journey, through the mysterious motives of the people he was chasing, Sam found himself transferred to another world filled with prehistoric creatures, dinosaurs, and now had to fight for his life to return to earth.
In addition to the rifle, Sam can also execute dinosaurs with his bare hands, including ripping off a Triceratops’ horn and impaling it with the same hand.
In contrast to Quantum Error which takes a cosmic horror approach, Son and Bone appears more like Serious Sam with its gameplay. The game is developed in Unreal Engine.
Meanwhile, there are no further details regarding the exact release schedule for this game. So, let’s wait for the announcement in the future.
