Marine Ltemporel, Amandine Petit, Eric Abidal, Juan Arbelaez, Matthias Dandois, Claude Dartois, Benjamin Fall, Alexis Hanquinquant and Hervé Mathoux, will proudly wear the colors of Team Orange Running with a common goal: crossing the finish line of the New Marathon York 2023.
The New York Marathon is a unique adventure for a first marathon, the experience of a lifetime, a real challenge. This marathon will be (for many) their very first, an effort which is unknown to them until now, the opportunity for them to test themselves before the race of their life: The Marathon Pour Tous Paris 2024.
The 9 ambassadors of Team Orange Running will set off on Sunday, November 5 from Staten Island to cover 42,195 kilometers in the streets of New York for the 51st edition of this marathon. They will travel the streets of the “Big Apple” from Central Park to the Bronx via Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the legendary 5th Avenue. This event attracts nearly 50,000 runners and more than two million spectators each year, who come together in an electric atmosphere that will make runners shiver.
Team Orange Running ambassadors have the privilege of being part of the 10,000 foreigners who will start this legendary race, all for different reasons…
Hervé Mathoux, presenter of Canal Football Club since 2008, embarked on this adventure following a challenge launched by his son teasing him about the fact that he would not be capable of being a finisher. Hervé is keen to prove him wrong.
Between his life as a general practitioner and the release of his new book “In great shape”, Marine LorgueMiss France 2023, does not hesitate to swap her white coat for a good pair of sneakers to train 3 to 4 times a week in preparation for this marathon.
One Miss France can hide another, it is the desire to surpass herself that leads Amandine Petit, Miss France 2021, to embark on the experience of the New York Marathon. A totally crazy experience for a new runner who, barely 4 months ago, started running.
